Travelling to the United States for Research: A Webinar with Dahlia French, Academic Immigration Attorney
Does travelling to the United States feel risky as a researcher in the current political climate? Have you ever wondered what visa type is appropriate for your short-term research visit? What can you do with just an ESTA? The Board of the Finnish Association for American Studies warmly welcomes all members to a webinar addressing exactly these questions on September 4, 17:00–18:00. Our guest Dahlia French is Founder and Managing Attorney of French Legal. She arrived in the USA as an F-1 in 1990, received her JD in 1993, completed coursework towards an LLM in Banking Law (1996), and received an LLM in Health Law (with Healthcare Compliance certification) in 2021. She will give a 30-minute presentation, followed by ample time for Q&A.
