What is SAM?
The League of Finnish American Societies (SAM) is a non-profit organization promoting cultural exchange between United States and Finland.*

Together, FASA and SAM arrange the following activities.
SAM Suomi – FASA: Yhdysvaltain presidentinvaalit -paneeli
FASA:n ja Suomi-Amerikka Yhdistysten liiton (SAM) yhteistyössä toteuttama presidentinvaalipaneeli järjestetään hybriditilaisuutena Helsingin yliopiston tutkijakollegiumin tiloissa (Common Room) ja Microsoft Teams-ympäristössä keskiviikkona 30.10. klo 17:00 alkaen.
Tilaisuuden panelisteina toimivat:
* Vanhempi yliopistonlehtori Rani-Henrik Andersson (Helsingin yliopisto, Pohjois-Amerikan tutkimus)
* Yliopistonlehtori Outi Hakola (Itä-Suomen yliopisto, Yhteiskuntatieteiden ja kauppatieteiden tiedekunta)
* Tutkijatohtori, Oscar Winberg (John Morton -keskus, Turun ihmistieteiden tutkijakollegium)

SAM – FASA Grant
SAM Foundation and FASA are jointly offering a conference grant for doctoral researchers in American Studies. The grant can also be used for attending summer schools.
